Character Commissions
Hello! My name is Mary (but you can also call me Rimsy if you’d like!) and I love painting. I’d love to bring your character(s) to life!I have been serious about art since I was thirteen and have a bachelor’s in design arts/illustration.Currently, I juggle the two loves of my life, my kids and my art. Because of this, I ask for your patience as I balance my work life with mom life. Once started, expect up to 3 months max (couples/groups may take longer) for me to finish your commission. I strive to give everyone the best of my ability and never want to rush anyone’s piece.Thank you!
Terms and Conditions
• All payments made by PayPal only. Payments must be sent in full before I start.• Refunds are available, however they are contingent on a few things:
- A full refund will be issued if I for some reason need to cancel on my end, regardless of what stage I am on.
- A full refund is OK if I have not started.
- If I have already started but am only on the refine sketch stage you will be refunded 50%.
- If I have already started the painting process then there is no refund option at this time. Please only order if you are for sure!• All commissions are for personal use only. For commercial use please message me and we can discuss.• Throughout the process I will send work in progress screen shots for approval. I do not mind doing minor revisions at no extra cost but I ask for no strict deadline in exchange. Major revisions will have additional charges.• You will receive a high resolution (300 dpi) jpeg and png image. I work somewhat large, around 5000+ pixels give or take depending on the piece.• I retain all ownership rights over my work, including commission work. This includes posting my work to my social media sites and portfolios.• You may not resell or profit from my work in any way. You may use it as profile pictures, banners, wallpapers, backgrounds, or personal prints.• My prices are subject to change at any time for future rates.• Gifting Commissions
If you wish to buy someone else a commission I can easily do that! But the buyer must provide all details and references.• I do not allow the use of NFTs or any AI-related technology for my work. This includes commission work. Please do not use it so.

Portrait Illustrations | starts at $110 (US)
Fully rendered color portrait with minimal background. Please note that the base price may increase depending on the complexity of the character.• Adding complex objects/accessories/jewelry +$15
• Adding creatures/pets +$20 per (max 2)
• Adding another character +$55 per (max 2)
• Adding simple BG +$25
• Adding detailed BG +$50
Half Body Illustrations | starts at $135 (US)
Fully rendered color half body (waist~knee up depending on pose) with minimal background. Please note that the base price may increase depending on the complexity of the character.• Adding complex objects/accessories/jewelry +$20
• Adding creatures/pets +$30 per (max 2)
• Adding another character +$65 per (max 2)
• Adding simple BG +$35
• Adding detailed BG +$75
Full Body Illustrations | starts at $185 (US)

Experimental Painted Sketches (Speed Paints) | $60-$130 (US)
These are considered experimental and let me try new things! Because of this, they will have a gestural/painterly feel to them.Please note that certain details may be simplified, especially if the character is overly complex.These are available via ko-fi only currently.
